Welcome to Joe's MAME cabinet build log
So, after a long time had passed I finally decided to construct an Arcade cabinet and use a PC as the central processing unit. This build was "spur of the moment" as I was not looking to build this project until I ran across an ad on Craigslist for someone listing a bunch of arcade cabinets for sale in my area.
So the project had begun. Before I knew it I was online researching for information on how to create this feat of genius. It wasn't long before I had a pretty good idea on what I needed to accomplish this task. I realized early on that it wasn't going to be easy, however I decided it was time to do this as I had been putting it off long enough. The Idea has become a reality. That is how you get things done. A little idea turns into a big dream. You gotta start somewhere right?
I'll try and put my build process into chronological order so that it will be easy to follow for someone who is also considering this. I find it humbling to be able to write about this and help others as well, because in hindsight it wasn't all that hard. The build was actually quite fun so long as you do not get into a rush. So, with out further adieu, HERE WE GO!
